No style code or date. Made in China. Leather uppers, balance manmade. Low tops with round toe and flat heel, lace up closure. Brown patent leather trim panels on upper – mudguard, eyestay, collar/heel counter, swoosh. Remainder is metallic gold with all-over Japanese kanji print in brown. Translates as “chikari” – “to swear/to make a firm promise” and “village/hometown.” Lower case “a” with star-shaped center and long tail mimics classic Nike swoosh – sewn on element on exterior and interior waist of shoe extending to back heel seam. Ribbon label sewn over end of padded tongue, brand name on front, “I Represent The A” (ATL, Atlanta) on inside. Hole punched eyelets – no grommets – flat brown laces. Metallic gold leather “moustache” at heel notch, with brand embroidered in yellow/gold. Kanji embroidered in same thread on exterior heel counter. Padded collar and heel back lined in brown poly mesh. Remainder lined in white fabric. White tag with size, materials content, and country of origin sewn into lining seam. Original branded, removeable white foam insoles with arch support and heel cup, lined with white fabric. Upper stitched to footbed around full perimeter of shoe. Brown single piece mold midsole/outsole – slip resistant synthetic rubber. Raised stripe around heel back and “ATL” molded onto midsole, painted yellow/gold. Molded tread pattern mimics AG1’s star in circles outline at ball of foot and at heel strike, with brand at arch. Ribbed edges, tiny star texturing at toe cap and heel back. Oddity/novelty – unique addition to your collection, or buy to wear! Preowned in great condition, consistent with age and normal use. Patent surfaces show scuffing/less glossy areas. Light creasing at stress points – across toe bend, at heel notch. Some scuffs on toes/toe caps, especially on left shoe. Paint wearing off the “ATL”/stripe on midsole. No stains or snags, minimal pilling on lining. Insole print is wearing off. Light marking/lint on fabric covering insole, but no significant marking or toe indentation. Tread clean and still deeply textured. Light visible wear in star texturing at edges of toe and heel. Soles flexible, no cracking. All stitching/seams intact. No glue separations.
